David Cox represents the Baldwin County Board of Education District 1 area, which encompasses the Baldwin County High School feeder pattern and a small portion of the Robertsdale High School feeder pattern.  He attended Perdido School from Kindergarten through 8th grade, and then moved to Baldwin County High School from which he graduated in 2000.  After high school, David attended Georgia Tech where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  He currently owns an engineering consulting business.
 
David and his wife, Payton, live in Stockton and are looking forward to a long and bright future together.  David and Payton attend First Baptist Church of Bay Minette, where they teach 2nd Grade Sunday School, and David serves as a deacon.  Both are conservative in their political and personal beliefs and care deeply about our country, our schools, and the future of both.
 
As a product of the Baldwin County public school system, David knows firsthand the quality education that can be provided.  With many friends and family members who are students and teachers, he feels a great responsibility to continually improve our schools.  He welcomes all feedback from parents, students, teachers, administrators, and tax payers.  David strongly believes everyone needs to be involved, so feel free to contact him to discuss any concerns or suggestions you may have.
