Dr. Faron L. Hollinger has served as Baldwin County's Superintendent since 2002, earning state and national recognition during his tenure. He is a graduate of the Baldwin County Public School System. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education at the University of South Alabama, and Education Specialist and Doctor of Education at the University of Alabama.
Dr. Hollinger served as a teacher, school psychologist, supervisor, coordinator, and Division Superintendent in the Baldwin County Public School System during the years 1976-2000. Prior to returning to Baldwin County, Dr. Hollinger served as Superintendent of Jasper City Schools from 2000-2002.
