I received my B.S in Secondary Comprehensive Science Education from Troy State University in 1998 and my M.Ed in Secondary Science from Auburn University in 2002.
I started my teaching career at my high school alma mater during the 1997-98 school year. After that I taught science and math at a private school in Lanett, Alabama. In 2002, I moved to Fairhope where I taught at Fairhope High School until 2005. I have had the privilege to teach at Fairhope Middle since 2005.
I am the mother of two girls, Lillian (age 11) and Eleanor (age 8). We enjoy living in Fairhope and along the gulf coast.
In my free time I enjoy reading (usually crime/mysteries), going to the beach, doing home improvement projects, and hanging out with my girls.
To me science is fun! And I strive to give students many opportunities to learn science by having fun.
