ELBERTA MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS

  • A Message From Ms. Padgett

We have had a wonderful first week of school. I can say it has been the smoothest first week I have ever experienced. Thank you for having your children at school and on time this week. Several grade levels were rewarded with music during their snack time for 100% daily attendance. Students who arrive on campus before 7:15 should report to the front office. Teachers do not report to duty until 7:20. Homeroom starts at 7:50 and students are considered tardy at 7:55. Students who arrive after 7:55 must check in through the front office. Monday we will begin checking for vehicle identification stickers in the afternoon car line. Decals must be placed on the passenger side of the vehicle in the lower corner. Anyone who does not have a decal will be required to go to the main office with identification to pick up his or her child. If you need extra decals, contact the front office. In order for the car line to run smoothly, we need drivers to pull as far up as possible. Please be courteous in the car line. The car line starts with two lanes and merges into one. In order for this to flow safely, the right lane should allow every other car to merge. E-Team PTO invites all parents to their first parent meeting Thursday morning at 7:45. This is a great way to learn about our school and how you can be involved. At Elberta Middle School, we grow a mindset of kindness, learning, and achieving.
