  • Do you like football? Have you ever thought about being part of our student manager team? If so, we are having a meeting for anyone interested this Friday after school in the football field house.


2017 Parking sp raffle    Raffle tickets for parking space #4 plus a $50 gas card are on sale for $5 this week.  You may purchase them from Mrs. Puckett in the office, Mrs. Coleman in room 311, or outside of the cafeteria during lunch.  The winner will be announced at the end of school this Friday, April 28th.  The raffle is sponsored by the Morgan Thompson Foundation.
  • 2017 ACS dinner  

    Outstanding Fairhope High School Chemistry students were recognized at an American Chemical Society awards dinner on April 24 at the University of South Alabama.  The recipients include Grace Bishop, Wilson Gaberino, and Jordan Jensen for their unwavering dedication and their tireless determination to succeed in AP and IB Chemistry.    Pictured from left to right are Grace Bishop, Wilson Gaberino, Amanda Jennings, (Chemistry teacher at Fairhope High School), and Jordan Jensen.   

  • Volleyball Tryouts will be May 22nd through 26th. There will be a pre-tryout meeting May 9th @ 5:45 in the cafeteria.

  • Girls Service Club Officer Applications will be closing on Friday 4/28 at 3 PM. If you wish to apply, please do so by then. Thank you!

  • Interested in joining the Fairhope High School Wrestling 2017/2018?  There will be an Informational parent meeting May 2nd at 6pm in the FHS cafeteria for grades 8th–12th.

  • Seniors, you are allowed to dress nice, Sunday attire for the Awards Program held in the gym at 9am Friday, April 28th.
  • Congratulations to Yeleanna Parr for being selected to attend the 19th Annual Alabama Governor's Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities.  The event will be held this summer at Troy University.  

  • All models participating in the Fashion Class runway show on Saturday, April 29, are asked to come for a practice on Tuesday, April 25 during 8th period in Ms B’s room.  Anyone wanting to buy tickets to the show can call Doris Simonds at 251-454-0064.  Tickets are $15, payable to the Eastern Shore Federated Women’s Club.  The show and luncheon begin at 11AM in the ballroom at Homestead Village this Saturday.  See Ms B with any questions.

4/28-4/29 softball @ Gulf Shores Pleasure Island Showdown

  • A representative from Birmingham Southern College will be on campus Thursday, April 26th in the library during SECOND and THIRD LUNCH ONLY. Juniors and Seniors interested in more information about Birmingham Southern please come by the guidance office to pick up a pass.

  • Girls Basketball Tryouts will be Monday May 8th to Wednesday May 10th 3:30 to  5:30 in the gym. All players must have a physical on file to try out. If you do plan to tryout, please sign up on the list posted on the girls basketball locker room door.
  • Spanish club is sponsoring the 2nd annual shoe drive during April. Turn in new or used shoes to Senora Holt's room or in front of the library.
  • If you plan to Co-Op next year, packets are now available! Come to the guidance office to pick up your packet. They are due back Friday, April 28th by 3pm.

  • Need help in a core subject? PIRATE PEER TUTORING every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during 8th period 2:40 pm. If you're interested in BEING a tutor please sign up in the counselor's office.
