BIO:
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Mr. Brian Graveman began his teaching career at Erwin High School in Jefferson County, Alabama. His teaching and coaching assignments are listed under experience. Mr. Graveman remained in this capacity for five years (1992-1997) before transferring to pursue higher level teaching and coaching assignments.
In 1997, Mr. Graveman began his new assignment at Fultondale High School which is also located in Jefferson County, Alabama. During his tenure at FHS, he was recognized with the Second Mile teacher award and Jefferson County Coach of the Year for baseball. He also began his quest for National Board Certification which he received in 2005.
Mr. Graveman married in 2005 which prompted his transfer to Spanish Fort High School in Baldwin County, Alabama. During his first few years, he taught Eighth Grade Advanced Mathematics and Algebra I. Presently he is teaching Geometry. He resigned from his coaching assignments which included middle school football assistant and head middle school track. Within his first two years at Spanish Fort High School he has been involved in county championships for eighth grade math team, middle school football, and middle school track.
While not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Tracy and two step children, Jon (his wife Brittney and son Landon) and Victoria. Jon currently works for Industrial Valve in Mobile. Victoria graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is employed with Mobile Infirmary Medical Center as a nurse. Their favorite place to go is anywhere that has a beach and pool.
