The Spanish Fort Middle School Science Bowl team is a great way for students to learn more about science while collaborating and practicing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related questions with their peers. Science bowl was originally founded by the U.S. Department of Energy and has spread to schools throughout the country.
The Spanish Fort team will compete at the regional level at the Alabama School of Math and Science on March 7, 2020. At the regional level, students will compete against middle schools from all over the state of Alabama. A first-place win at regionals gives students a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. to compete in the National Science Bowl against students from all over the country!
Science Bowl is sponsored by Mrs. Beth Wright and co-sponsored by Mr. Cain Harbin. Please direct all science bowl related questions to Mrs. Wright at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our team meets every Monday morning beginning at 7:10!
