Wes Overton

This is my fifth year at Spanish Fort Middle School and I couldn't be more excited. I have spent the previous six years at Excel Public School in Excel, Alabama. My wife, Shay, and I loved our time in Excel as it was a great school too, but when the opportunity came up to come home we couldn't pass it up. While at Excel I taught seventh-grade math, AP Statistics, and various other courses. My wife and I have been married since 2011 and we have one daughter, Sadie, who is five and a son, Brady, who is two. My wife is a kindergarten teacher at Rockwell Elementary. I graduated from Troy University with a degree in Math Education and just completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Mathematics from Concordia University.
