Mrs. Averette Hale
Welcome to Fairhope Elementary School! As an early childhood educator of over twentyfive years, I believe students need a firm foundation in literacy to be successful in their educational journey. At Fairhope Elementary School, we put reading and math literacy as the main focus of our instruction for our students.
I am a native of Dothan, Alabama, then moved to Mobile, Alabama graduating from Davidson High School. My undergraduate degree is in Communications and Business from the University of South Alabama. i attended Springhill College for graduate school and received a Masters in Education. Later I returned to the University of South Alabama for post-graduate work where I earned my administrative certification in Leadership and Administration.
I began my career in education teaching third grade at Daphne Elementary School, then taught second grade at Spanish Fort Elementary School. i worked as Assistant Principal and Principal at Bay Minette Elementary for nine years prior to moving back to the Eastern Shore. I was the Assistant Principal at Daphne Elementary and Fairhope Elementary before being placed at Fairhope Elementary full time.
I am married to Chip Hale with three grown daughters, Caroline Branning, Christina Shaver and Anna Camille Hale. We have three wonderful grandchildren, James Shaver, George Shaver and Carina Branning.
As I walk around the halls of Fairhope Elementary School, I see children who are learning to read, engaged in mathematical lessons and learning how to be a good leader. it is a privilege to be the Assistant Principal of this great school.
