I am the Gifted Education teacher at Silverhill Elementary. I have been teaching in Baldwin County since 2010. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I received my Master's Degree in Gifted Education through the Distance Learning program from the U of A, as well. Prior to teaching Gifted Ed., I taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. 

I am married to Matt Fischer, and we have one son named Mills. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching Alabama football, boating, and our two dogs (Jack and Josie).

I love Silverhill Elementary because we feel like a family. Our students are innovative thinkers, compassionate towards others, and have a deep love of learning. I am excited about the start of a new year together!
