Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Lee Collins, 7th Grade Math Teacher

After receiving a B.S. in Secondary Mathematics Education from Jacksonville State University in 1998, I began my teaching career at Hokes Bluff High School. I taught Algebra I and II for 17 years before moving to Baldwin County. During those years I also received my Master’s and Education Specialist degrees.

In mid-November 2014 I moved to Baldwin County and taught Algebra I and II at Baldwin County High School, but I wanted to be closer to home so I moved to Summerdale to teach 7th and 8th grade math and Algebra three years. This is when I learned to love middle schoolers!

In 2018 I transferred to Fairhope Middle, and now I am in my twenty-second year of teaching. I absolutely love teaching 7th grade math, and I am so happy to be a Pirate!

My students think I am a goofy math nerd, because I love math and teaching kiddos!

Fairhope Middle School is like a big family, and I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful family!

I cannot wait to meet your kiddos and you!
