This is my 8th year as a school counselor in Baldwin County. I was an itinerant school counselor based at Daphne Middle School before transferring to the role of full time counselor at WJ Carroll Intermediate School on October 1, 2020. Prior to moving to Alabama, I was a school counselor in Montgomery County, Maryland where I worked as an elementary counselor for 6 years in a K-5 school and as middle school counselor for 7 years with grades 6 - 8. I have a BS in Family and Child Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Blacksburg, VA) and MS in School Counseling from George Washington University (Washington, DC). I am also a National Board Certified Counselor. My professional association memberships include the American School Counseling Association, Alabama Counseling Association, Alabama School Counseling Association and the National Board of Certified Counselors.
