Mrs. Kacie Hardman
I have my Bachelors of Science in Education from the University of South Alabama. I am currently persuing my Masters degree in Elementary Education at USA.
In 2006, I began my teaching career in Fairhope. I taught first grade until 2013. I gained a passion for showing students how to become life long learners through reading writing, and hands on learning experiences!
In 2014 I had the privilege of becoming the director of the Pelican's Nest Science Lab! This is a dream job! I now teach kindergarten-sixth grade students. The Pelican's Nest provides hands on field experiences and in lab STEAM lessons to students in Fairhope Feeder Pattern and BCBE schools. I love the privilege of giving students ownership in their home and making them feel like a scientist! I love the challenge of learning right along beside the students in this new career path. This position allows me to live out my passion of being a life-long learner!
My husband and I reside in Fairhope with our three precious children: Percy Jane 8, George 6 and Emery 3. We love the community of Fairhope and spend many evenings and weekends on the bay.
