Welcome, everyone!

I started this educational field as a secretary at Pine Grove School and worked there for six years.  In 1994, I graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in education. I then began teaching 5^th grade gifted students at Fairhope Intermediate and have been here since.  I love what I do and that is teaching gifted and talented students! When you love what you do, not only will you make a difference in your students’ lives, but you will make a difference in your own as well.

Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.  Teaching is a gift which never ends.  For me, every day is a new day teaching gifted students.  Not only do they learn from me but I learn from them, as well.

In addition, I am a proud mother of two beautiful and talented children; Cordell (38) and Tarmeca (36), seven grandchildren(Destiny , DJ, Caitlin, Jaden, Caleb, Jametrius, and Prynceton).  Family is important!  I love spending time with my family.  Every day is a day of Thanksgiving!
