I am married and have two children, Trae and Sage.  We have one very spoiled dog, Thad.  I am originally from Gulfport, MS but moved to the Eastern Shore after getting married.  Although I have now lived here longer than I lived in MS so to me this is home.  I love it here!

I have been teaching since 1993.  I have taught in both Catholic and public schools.  I have taught sixth, second and first grades.  I have a Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Southern MS and a Masters in Reading from the University of South AL. 

I spend most of my time with my family.  Family time is very important to me.

We enjoy SFHS football games.  My daughter is in color guard/winter guard so you can always find us at a game or competition. We enjoy traveling, cooking out and playing games. 

My heart is in teaching.  I love teaching first grade.  I think they teach me as much as I teach them. My goal in teaching is to create life- long learners by inspiring them to be the best they can be and to always reach for the stars!!
