Peer Helper Program

What are Peer Helpers?

Peer-to-peer support is offered in Baldwin County Public Schools through the Peer Helpers program, which is provided in partnership with the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation.

The Peer Helpers act as a friendly face to incoming new students, act as mentors and tutors to fellow students, raise awareness in their schools on prevention and safety topics, and support their schools by creating a climate of kindness.

Peer Helpers must agree to the program Code of Ethics which requires student and parent signatures to participate. To learn more about the Peer Helpers program at your school, visit the school’s website.

Note: In accordance with Alabama Law, parents must provide written consent for their child to participate in any of the programs listed above. Consent forms are distributed annually and are also available upon request from your child’s school counselor.
