BCBE Standards-Based School Counseling Lessons & Resources
Welcome to the Baldwin County Public Schools Standards-Based School Counseling Lessons & Resources page.
As part of BCBE's commitment to transparency and in support of the Parents' Right to Know Act, this page provides parents and guardians with access to the standards-based lesson plans and instructional resources used by BCBE school counselors.
These lessons have been developed by BCBE school counselors and are aligned with the 2026 Comprehensive School Counseling Program Model for Alabama Public Schools and the Alabama State Department of Education School Counseling Standards.
Instruction is designed to support students' Academic Development, Career Readiness, and Foundational Wellness through age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote student success in school and beyond.
School counselors deliver these K-6 standards-based lessons through classroom instruction, typically presented once each month as part of the school's comprehensive school counseling program. Classroom school counseling lessons are a component of the educational program designed to support students. Consistent with Alabama State Department of Education guidance and BCBE procedures, these universal classroom lessons are part of the regular instructional program.
