Chef Dan Navarro lives in Daphne Alabama, is married to Ashley Navarro, and has a 13 year old son and 18 year old daughter. Chef Dan Navarro is the Hospitality and Tourism and Culinary Arts instructor for the South Baldwin Center for Technology. This is a program that teaches students from Robertsdale, Fairhope, Foley, Elberta, and the Virtual High Schools in Southern Baldwin County Alabama. Chef Navarro has been teaching at the high school level for 5 years, and taught for 4 years at the college level prior to that. Dan has been in the food service industry most of his life off and on. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and worked as a Firefighter and medic all while acquiring an AAS in Culinary Arts and Hospitality, a BS in Hospitality Management and a MS in Hospitality Management From the University of Alabama.
