My name is Tyler Dutton and I started teaching in 2012. I was born and raised in Fairhope and graduated from Fairhope High School. My son Fletcher is four and loves trucks and swimming! I did my student teaching at FIS, in 4th grade and love the age group and cirrciculum. I graduated from South Alabama in December 2011 and started teaching the next year. I am currently working on my master's degree in education at Faulkner University.

I am so happy to have a job at Fairhope Intermediate in a 4th grade classroom. I work with a group of wonderful and supportive teahers and administrators. I like to run my classroom with stucture and high expectations for my students. I also love for students to be able to explore and collaborate. I think learning responsiblity and how to work as a team-member are both very important lessons in 4th grade.
