Ms. Trina Jackson (eMINTS Teacher)
Hi, my name is Ms. Trina Jackson also known as Momma Jackson, and I truly enjoy teaching! I'm a certified eMINTS teacher. My classroom environment is loving and structured with cooperative learning groups and hands-on learning. I have been teaching for 20 1/2 yrs. At an early age, I knew teaching was my calling. My passion for teaching began at home with me teaching my baby brother and whomever else I could bring into my little bedroom schoolhouse. When I reached ninth grade, my Sunday School teacher invited me to help her teach the primary class. I taught the primary class throughout my high school years. While attending college, I taught pre-school at two different daycare centers. After graduating with my BS degree, I began my teaching career at Fairhope Intermediate School. During the '07-'08 school term, I took a one year leave of absence to serve as an AMSTI Science Specialist for the Alabama State Department. It was a great experience, but my heart was in the classroom with my students. Therefore, I returned to Fairhope Intermediate School where I have remained ever since.
Teaching is priceless! Each child is a special fruit that needs to be cared for, watered with knowledge and loved. It is truly a blessing to watch my garden grow from day to day. What can I say? I Love What I Do!
