Degrees and Certifications:
I am a graduate of the University of South Alabama. GO JAGS!!
I hold a B.S. Degree in Speech Pathology with a Class B Teacher Certificate in Special Education PK-12.
I am also highly qualified for grades PK-6.
This year, I have decided to make a change and become the new teacher for the multidisabilities class. I taught the preschool special education class at the K-1 Center for 5 years and it was a very rewarding experience. Although I will miss many of my speech students that I have known for many years, I feel this is a change which will allow me to teach "the whole student" and not just a small piece.
This is my 23rd year in the schools, my 21st in Baldwin County and my 13th in Fairhope. I have had the pleasure of working in many great schools in the county and with really great people but Fairhope is home and I plan to stay here.
I have three wonderful children: Henry and Lacie are Juniors in high school. Henry attends Fairhope High School and Lacie is participating in the Digital Renaissance Virtual High School. Darby is a freshman at Fairhope High School and is on the Varsity Basebal Team. Go Pirates!!!
