Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Christopher McClantoc
My name is Chris McClantoc. I am husband to my beautiful wife Rebecca and a father to my beautiful daughter Hannah Blake. I was born and raised in Baldwin County, graduating from Foley High School in 2004. I learned hard work and responsibility from my dad Bob McClantoc and kindness from my mom Debra McClantoc. I love my family and my church family at Robertsdale Church of Christ. I have been a teacher here at NBTech for the last 4 years. My program is the Advertising Design Academy. I center the curriculum on the basics and fundamentals of critical thinking, creativity, and visual communications. I have earned an AAS in Graphic Design Technology from Pensacola State College and will soon have a Bachelor’s in Career Tech Education from Athens State University. My work experience in the business of commercial art is comprised of the last 15 years of jobs and projects ranging from graphic design to video production. I really enjoy bringing the knowledge and experience I have to the classroom and seeing the success students are able to have. The reason I left industry and started teaching is that I remember growing up and really struggling to find resources on how to use my creative talents for a legitimate career. That is the reason why I decided to become teacher. My hope is to help the students with the talent and ability for great things, see how they can utilize their skills and create a successful and enjoyable career.
