Mrs. Lee Earnest, Physical Education/8th Volleyball Coach

My name is Lee Earnest and I teach Physical Education at Fairhope Middle School. I also coach the 8th grade volleyball team.  I grew up in Fairhope, graduated from Fairhope High School, and am a member of the Fairhope High School Athletic Hall of Fame. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of South Alabama in 1996 in Physical Education. I have been teaching at FMS for 21 years and have coached various sports through the years including: varsity volleyball, varsity softball, varsity track, jv softball, jv basketball, jv volleyball, 8th grade and 7th grade volleyball, 8th grade basketball, middle school track, middle school cheerleading, and soccer sponsor.

One of my fondest moments happened when one of my past players thanked me for helping her become involved in volleyball. If not for her volleyball scholarship, she said she would not have gone to college.
I have been married for the past eight years to Al Earnest, who is an area representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and former coach.  When I am not teaching or coaching at FMS, I enjoy fishing, going to the beach, reading, traveling, or spending some time with my husband Al and family.
