Mr. James A. Blackmon

I am a Baldwin County native with 27 years of teaching experience in the county.  My joy is teaching students.  My desire is for my students to become well-rounded, community minded individuals .  As a social studies teacher, I enjoy teaching the Advanced Placement American History classes and relating things to real world issues. My desire is to help students become whole persons who are educated and productive.
I am married to the most wonderful and beautiful lady, Michelle, a special services instructor at BCHS and have two great daughters. My children all enjoy the University of Mobile Rams.  I enjoying hunting, playing golf, enjoying time with my wife and kids at the beach, love the mountains of east Tennessee (looking forward to retirement there), Longboat Key near Sarasota (vacation home away from home) and preaching the gospel throughout the south.
