Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Diana Feely
I am originally from Soso, MS, and am a 1988 graduate of West Jones High School. After graduating high school, I attended Jones County Junior College for two years. After graduating from Jones, I attending the nursing program at the University of Southern Mississippi. After starting my nursing clinicals, I decided that nursing was not for me. Because I had always had a passion for teaching, I decided to return to college and pursue a degree in English and secondary education. After graduating and receiving a bachelor's degree from Southern Miss, I attended William Carey University where I received a master's degree in English and secondary education. I started my teaching career at the Jones County Alternative school where I taught for 2.5 years. Wanting to be close to the beach but not too far away from home, I moved to Foley. My first teaching job in Baldwin County was at Elberta Middle School where I taught 8th grade literature for 10 years and coached cheerleading for 8 years. In 2010 I then transferred to Foley High School where I've enjoyed teaching a variety of English classes. I am also co-sponsor for Interact, a community service organization on campus. Our organization sponsors the Mr. & Miss FHS Scholarship Pageant every year.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, going to the beach, and watching college football. I also enjoy visiting my family in MS and spending lots of time with my sister's triplets: Braeli, Presley, and Fischer. They're the cutest ever!! Chris and I have one furbaby, Tobie.
