I am an English teacher here at Foley High School. I grew up attending Foley schools and have always been proud to be a lion! I fully believe that Foley is one of the best schools in the state and that I work with and for some of the strongest educators around!
I graduated from Foley High School in 2003 and went on to attend Auburn University where I met my husband, Blake Cody. I graduated from Auburn in 2007 with a B.A. in Communication. After returning to Foley, I quickly realized I missed my calling to be an educator. I joined the Foley High Family and received the extra credits I needed from the University of South Alabama. I am currently pursuing a degree for Masters in Arts - Teaching English Language Arts from the University of West Alabama!
I have been teaching since 2008 and there is literally nothing else I would rather be doing! My heart is a part of Foley and I pray that I have a positive impact on the students that come into my classroom.
I work with Mrs. Julie Champion and the Foley High School Peer Helper Program. I was a Peer Helper in high school and I know the extreme amount of positivity this program placed in my life. I am beyond excited to work with Mrs. Champion and our AMAZING Peer Helpers!
I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and amazing daughters, Anna Claire and Ava Kate. We love to watch our Auburn Tigers and spend time with our family and friends. We attend City Hope Church in Foley!
I am always open to questions, if you would like to contact me you may email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
