Mrs. Amanda Allgood
My name is Amanda Allgood, and I am a speech-language pathologist. This is my 7th year as an SLP but my first year at Daphne East, and I am so excited to work with the students here! Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child's speech and language.
I have worked as a speech-language pathologist in Escambia County School District in Florida and for Mobile Infirmary Pediatric Therapy Services in Fairhope and Bay Minette. I hold my ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and am a member of the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama. I am trained in the Dubard Association Method and have received advanced training in sign-language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), fluency (stuttering), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), articulation disorders, and oral motor difficulties.
I am married to Culley Allgood, and we have one son, Wells, who is 2 years old. We attend Eastern Shore Baptist Church. We are originally from Mississippi but are happy to call the Eastern Shore home!
