I attended the University of South Alabama where I got my BS in Early Childhood Education in 1993. I got my Graduate Degree in Early Childhood Education, from USA, in 2005.   

I have been teaching at Daphne Elementary School since 1995. I have been a kindergarten teacher for all but one of those years. I taught 3^rd grade for one year. I was a student teacher, in 1^st grade, at DES. I was also a para-professional, at DES, before I started teaching kindergarten. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend my teaching career!

I have wanted to teach kindergarten since I was a kindergarten student many years ago. I love seeing young children progress so far academically and socially during their first year in school. I have an extremely rewarding job!  

I am married to Herb Cole. We have two daughters. Alex & Jennie are both former students of DES. When I'm not working I love to read, go to the movies, and spend time with my family and friends.
