My name is Andrea Kelder. I am the 3^rd grade Resource Teacher at Daphne Elementary School. I grew in New York, right outside New York City. I went to Undergraduate College at The University of Vermont, and then attended Manhattanville College for my Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education.   I have been teaching since 2001.  I taught fourth grade as a general education teacher in an inclusion classroom for 11 years in New York, and then became a special education teacher when I moved to Alabama in 2012. I have been a Resource Teacher at Daphne Elementary School in various grades since I started here at our school.  I am married to Brian Kelder, and have two boys Brian and Zachary who mean the world to me.  Brian was born in 2008, and Zac was born in 2011.  We love traveling as a family, and try to go on at least one big trip a year.  We enjoy taking cruises, or even just going on quick trips to Atlanta or NOLA when we can as a family. We live in Fairhope, but are hearts are in Daphne. My boys are active in Daphne sports, and keep me busy with baseball and football.  We are Daphne Trojan Proud!
