I grew up in Selma, Alabama. We have lived in Daphne for the past 20 years and now consider it home. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. I received my Masters in Teaching degree from Springhill College. This is my 16th year teaching in second grade at Daphne Elementary School. I am married to Jimmy Utsey, who is a real estate appraiser.  We have two sons and a daughter-in-law.  Bradley and his wife, Rachael, live in Birmingham.  Owen is a senior at South Alabama. I love teaching second grade! It is a blessing to me to be able to teach and interact with the kids. I also love to spend time with my family, read, go fishing, and go to the movies.
