I'm originally from St. Stephens, Alabama. I attended Leroy High School from Kindergarten until graduation from high school. Upon graduation from Leroy in 2006, I attended the University of Mobile and majored in Music Education with a double concentration in voice and piano. I graduated Cum Laude four years later. Shortly after graduation, I interviewed for my current position, Baldwin County music teacher, and was granted the job. During my first year, a new program was in the works at Samford University for current music teachers to study "at a distance". During the summer of 2011, I began my Masters degree. By summer 2012, I finished my Masters in Music Education with a 3.91 GPA. I am a recent graduate from the University of South Alabama, and majored in Curriculum Leadership in the Teacher Leader Specialist program. I graduated with my Specialist degree in the Fall of 2016. Furthering my education has always been a priority! I love my job, and strive to improve my teaching skills so that I can better serve the children of Baldwin County.
