Meet Mrs. Peebles
I am Brandy Peebles, and I am proud to be an Elberta Warrior. This will be my sixteenth year teaching. I started my career as a first grade teacher in Pensacola, Florida. After ten years, I made the move to Baldwin County to prepare for my family’s move to Lillian, Alabama. It was then that I joined the wonderful staff of Elberta Elementary.
I am a graduate of The University of West Florida. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-K/Primary Education and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Instruction. My passion for teaching started when I was a young girl. I can remember playing school with my parents, stuffed animals, and friends. I participated in the Child Care program in high school, where we started the first Pre-K program in a high school with on the job training. Throughout my time teaching, I have been part of many committees, programs, and additional learning opportunities. My most recent accomplishments in Baldwin County include the eMints program, Reading Cadre program, and Aspiring Leaders.
I grew up with a dad that was in the Navy. Our family settled in Pensacola when I was in fourth grade, so it is home to me. My husband and I built our house in Lillian because his family roots are here. We have three wonderful children, Amber, Lyndsey, and Ethan. Our family also includes our Black Labradors, Daisy and Tuck. In my spare time, I enjoy softball and baseball with my kids. When I am not at a ballfield, I enjoy being outside and relaxing.
