I am a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in beautiful and historic Staunton, Virginia.  I have a BA Degree in Art Studio and Art Education CUM LAUDE, Certified Pre-K - 12.
 
I am a passionate Visual Arts Teacher for over twenty years.  My objective in teaching is to teach and embrace my students with knowledge, touching their lives through positive affirmation bringing enlightenment to them for a bright future.  I desire for my teaching to create an environment for the betterment of our world and the lives of others making a lasting impression.  I believe the intellectual, creative experience flourishes through nurture of relationships, love and inspiration in a safe and secure environment.  Trust, accountability and excellence of work ethic become evident through my higher order lessons and belief in my students. 
 
With great pride I teach at Delta Elementary, Loxley Elementary and Pine Grove Elementary.  It is an honor to teach for Baldwin County Board of Education.  I am a professional visual artist and advocate for the arts.  I am a passionate teacher, nurturer and mentor for my dear students whom I love.  I believe in modeling kindness and respect.  I am a role model of "Actions Speak Louder than Words" and "Love is an Action Word".  I am an organizer, expeditor and classroom manager.   Love Wins!
