Renee' Richard

Renee' Richard is from southwest Louisiana, where she attended Northwestern State University on a softball scholarship, walked-on the basketball team and was drafted to be on the university's 1st volleyball team.  Coach Richard was named NSU's "Ms. Intramural" in 1984 and also served as member and Education Director of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
 
Ms. Richard has taught Social Studies since 1992. (World Geography, World History, United States History 1 and II, as well as, History Through Multi-Media elective course)
 
She coached varsity softball for 11 years. (#4 State 6A 1995 & 2000, undefeated in section play 2000;  McGill-Toolen High and Pine Forest High in Pensacola),
Coached JV/assist. basketball for 10 yrs. (McT, PFHS, Spanish Fort HS), and
Coached JV volleyball for 4 years at Spanish Fort HS.
Her other interests include playing pickle ball, exercising, and working in her yard.
 
Ms. Richard has held a number of leadership roles at the local school and system level.  These include memberships on the SFHS School Leadership Team, the Baldwin County Digital Renaissance Leadership Academy, and the SFHS Sunshine Committee. 
 
She is a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and sometimes attends Little Sisters of the Poor for mass and volunteer service. 
 
Ms. Richard has been at Spanish Fort High School since 2010.
