Mrs. Julie Rosado
Hello, my name is Julie Rosado and this is my 11th year at Gulf Shores Elementary School and I am very excited about teaching your child! I hope to make a positive difference in your child's life and plan on having a successful school year! I firmly believe that teaching is the most rewarding career out there and I thoroughly enjoy my job!
Let me tell you a little about myself, as I am anxious to learn about your child as well! I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. I moved to Baldwin County in 1993 and have lived here ever since. I enjoy spending time with my husband, three daughters, and two dogs. We spend most of our time together playing board games, boating, spending time with our huge extended family, reading, and participating in outdoor activities.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative teaching (K-12) from the University of South Alabama and my Master’s degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from The University of Phoenix. I have taught both special education and general education for the past 17 years to 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders at Leinkauf Elementary School, Foley Middle School, Gulf Shores Middle School, and Gulf Shores Elementary School. I currently teach 6th grade History and Science.
Please email me with any comments or concerns you may have during the school year. I am a firm believer in communication in order to help your child excel during this important school year!
I look forward to a great school year!
