I have also taught AP US History, Pre-IB World History and US History I. I am the sponsor for the Student Government Association and the EF European Tour coordinator. In additon to trips to Europe, I also took a student tour to the 2017 Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC.
A little background information on me....
I am originally from Nashville, TN and have lived on the Eastern Shore for 20 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human and Orgaizational Development from Vanderbilt University. Upon graduation, I worked in the medical sales industry and was the marketing director at North Baldwin Hospital in Bay Minette. I have also worked in the real-estate industry in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
I received my Master's in Social Science Education degree from the University of South Alabama in 2013 and was awarded the Most Outstanding Graduate Student Teacher Award for 2013. In 2016, I was selected to be a participant at the Gilder-Lehrman Institute of American History summer program at the National World War Two Museum in New Orleans. I am currently working to earn the eMINTS designation which is a two year commitment to improving my strategic teaching skills.
