Mrs. Anne Stevens

Welcome to Third Grade! This is my sixth year teaching at FES, Go Lions! I am married and have one daughter who is in the eighth grade at Foley Middle School. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, our puppy Dixie, and cat Girl Scout. I love SEC football, Roll Tide. I also enjoy reading, fishing, photography, boating, and traveling. I am a native of Baldwin County and grew up in Fairhope now residing in Loxley.

I am a graduate of University of South Alabama. During my student teaching I was blessed to serve time at FES in Kindergarten. I could not imagine being at any other school. I am thrilled to call FES home. I am Talents trained and AMSTI trained in both math and science.  I serve on our school's Science PLT and am currently completing my second year in Cadre' year 2.

In third grade we will learn about communities, geography, and economics.

We will investigate plant growth/development, animal growth/adaptations, weather/climate, and force/motion in Science. In math, we will embark on a voyage of learning about new math topics and new ways of thinking through AMSTI. A few of our MAIN math focuses this year will be Multiplication/Division and Fractions.

We explore many different genres of literature as we learn about ourselves as readers and writers.

My planning period is each day from 1:00 - 1:30.
