Bachelor's Degree in Communication ArtsMaster's Degree in Language Arts Education

Ms. Lisa Jenkins Madison

I have been teaching in Baldwin County schools for over 20 years now.  I graduated from Baldwin County High School and attended college at the University of South Alabama for both undergraduate and graduate school.  I have a master's degree in language arts education, and plenty of experience with middle school kids.  7th and 8th grades are my favorite grades to teach, so I'm right where I wish to be.  I love to read and run, and enjoy spending time with my family at home and on the water, both with our new fish and ski boat and using kayaks and paddle boards. We take care of a dog, two cats, two tanks of fish, a ball python, and one chicken. My duties here at DMS include teaching 8th grade Pre-AP English and Career Prep. In addition, I will be working on my eMINTS certification for the next two years, in order to become a better teacher. I will also be helping out with the Trojan Runners club in the afternoons after school. In my photo, I am modeling the latest in steampunk gear, as well as preparing for the great ecplise of 2017. I remember making a pinhole camera to view the ecplise of 1979, when I was in 5th grade, so I know this was a lasting memory for your kids!
