Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Melisa Everett

I have lived in Baldwin County most of my life.  My parents moved to Spanish Fort when I was 6 months old.  I attended Spanish Fort schools kindergarten through 8th grade and then went to Daphne High School.  I met my now husband after I graduated from high school and we married shortly after I graduated from college in April 2000.  We have two boys.  Ethan is entering 7th grade at GSMS and Landon is entering 4th grade at GSES.  Both boys play football in Foley and Landon plays soccer in Perdido.  We live in Foley, attend school in Gulf Shores, and go to church in Fairhope.  We are all over the place and super busy.  We wouldn't change it for the world.

I love teaching.  I believe it is a calling and is the most influential job there is.  If I ever lose my passion, I will change my path.  I have been at Gulf Shores High School since 2003.  During my tenure here, I have primarily taught English 9; however, I have also taught English 10, drama, and oral communications.
