• FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), our leadership and community service club, meets after school bi-monthly.  Any DMS student may join.  Membership dues must be paid to participate in the year's activities.

FCCLA sponsors the cook-offs held at DMS.  Members also make blankets for Project Linus, a volunteer organization that donates the blankets to severely ill children in the local hospitals.  At Christmas, the club members make holiday cards for the orphans at Baptist Children's Home in Mobile.   The club's big spring fundraiser "Pennies for Paws" raises money for the Baldwin County Humane Society, a non-profit, no-kill agency that operates county-wide in helping abused and abandoned animals.  FCCLA is always on the lookout for worthy new causes to add to the club's repertoire.

For information on how to join, see Kay Taylor in Room 216 for membership forms.
