Hi! I am happy to serve as the speech-language pathologist (AKA- speech teacher) at Gulf Shores Elementary! I began working at GSES in October 2014, and I am so excited about being able to start the 2015-2016 school year with my students! We are going to have an awesome year!!
While I am still one of the newer teachers at the school, I am not new to the field of speech therapy. I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of South Alabama, and I have worked in many different settings before coming to GSES- including serving children in early intervention, private practice, and outpatient rehab.
I am married and have three beautiful children- one son (18) and two daughters (10 and 2). My son has a communication impairment, and he is the reason that I went into the field of speech-language pathology. My family and I live in Orange Beach, and we love to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful scenery of our beach community!
If you have any questions about your child's speech and/or language abilities, or would like to know more about speech therapy services, please do not hesitate to give me a call or send me an email!
