My name is Amber McInvale and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade for the fourth year at Elsanor Elementary School this year!
I grew up in Chelsea, AL where I attended Chelsea Schools from K-12th grade. When I graduated high school I attended college at Troy University, Go Trojans, where I received my bachelors in Elementary Education K-6 in 2011. After graduation I was a Special Education Aide for 5th and 6th grade, taught K4 for a year, was the Reading Interventionist K-5 at Spanish Fort Elementary (2014-2015) and this will be my fourth year teaching 5th grade at Elsanor.
I met my husband, Will, at Troy and he is one of the PE teachers at Daphne East Elementary. We bought a house in Loxley about a year ago and we love it! We attend Jubilee Baptist Church where we are involved with the Children's ministry. We also have a heart for Foster Kids and are counselors for Royal Family Kids Camp in the summer. We have a one year old son Noah and a 7 year old Yorkie named Minion!
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, GOING TO THE BEACH, listening to music, Troy and Alabama football!
I am looking forward to another great year in 5th grade and feel so blessed to be a part of the Elsanor Elementary Family!
