Courtney Blake

Mrs. Blake graduated from Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Alabama and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.  As a student of literature she travelled abroad and visited many of the sites about which she teachers her students.  Through a cooperative learning program Mrs. Blake was afforded the opportunity to complete courses at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England.

After returning stateside and graduating college, she enrolled in Jones School of Law but felt her heart was being pulled toward teaching.  After taking graduate courses at Auburn University Montgomery and Alabama State University, she earned a Master of Education and took additional graduate courses to qualify her to teach in post secondary education. 

Mrs. Blake has taught English on secondary and post-secondary levels for more than a decade and can't imagine doing anything else!
