After spending my first fabulous year at Summerdale School, I am back! This will be my 13th year of teaching, most of which has been in north Alabama, Anniston and Gadsden. My undergraduate degree is from Jacksonville State University, Go Cocks, and my graduate degree is from The University of Alabama, Roll Tide. I am married to Ben Monk, who teaches for Baldwin County High School, and we have two sons, Daniel (7) and Johns (3). Thank you to all of my students, coworkers and families that were so welcoming to me last year :). I am teaching 3rd grade again this year and am excited to meet my new students! Summerdale Strong!
