• I have two daughters:  Jessica who is 19 and attending college and Faith who is 12 and attending Foley Intermediate.  My family and I are very excited to be living here and look forward to becoming involved with the community and all it has to offer.

I was raised in North Alabama, near a small town called Beaverton.  After graduating from Marion County High School, In 1988, I attended Brewer State Community College.  In 1990 I transferred to the University of North Alabama and graduated in 1992 with a BS in Secondary Education, Language Arts.  After being hired as a special educator for Lamar County High School I returned to UNA and began working on a Master’s degree in Special Education and graduated in 1996.  I worked at LCHS for 23 years as a resource and inclusion teacher.  I loved my job and the people of Lamar County.  I was torn about leaving the area but felt my family needed a change.  When I decided to come to Foley, I had no idea that I was moving into such a wonderful community of people.  This is my first year at Foley Middle School and I am very pleased to be working with great teachers, staff and students.
