I am originally from Florida, and from there I lived in Kansas, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi. I met and married my husband Chris in Georgia. We have three amazing children - Alex, Sophie, and Andrew - who are the joy of our lives. We also have two dogs and two cats, which makes our home crazy but happy.

Being a teacher is something I wanted to do ever since I was in the fifth grade - when I had a teacher who touched my life. I love kids, and I LOVE middle school kids! I try to encourage my students and hope they always feel like someone cares about them. I also hope to pass along my love of reading. This is my fourth year at Spanish Fort Middle School in Reading Intervention, and I absolutely love it! I feel truly blessed to be here.
