South Baldwin Center for Technology

The Welding cluster provides students with an opportunity to acquire the  skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to enter the competitive industry as an entry-level welder. Students will learn safety procedures, welding terminology, equipment identification, and set-up and operation of the welding process. Valuable instructions are offered in Shielded Metal Arc Welding process plus oxy-fuel, plasma arc, and carbon arc cutting.
