Dr. Anita Salinas

This is my second year teaching at Robertsdale High School. I taught in Mobile County for 14 years, teaching a variety of subjects such as environmental science, Earth and space science, biology, and physical science. I live in Baldwin County with my husband and two sons, and I am thrilled to be teaching in the Baldwin County Public School System. I am a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Science and a Master of Education degree in Secondary Science Education. I have recently completed my doctoral degree in educational leadership at the University of South Alabama. I have an extensive background in high school sciences which I enjoy sharing with my students.  I am currently teaching tenth grade physical science and I am a co-sponsor of the National Honor Society. I support the use of technology in my classroom through the use of an online textbook and Google Classroom. My teaching style incorporates as many hands-on, group centered activities as possible. I enjoy watching students excel both academically and socially in the classroom and in their extracurricular activities.
