Coach Lamontis Gardner is in his first year as the Access Teacher at Daphne High School.

Prior to joining the Trojans, Coach Gardner was a Physical Education teacher at Foley High School for the 2016 and 2017 school years. Prior to teaching high school Coach Gardner also served 2 years as a Graduate Assistant for the University of South Alabama and in 2015 he made stops at Arizona State University and Arizona Western Community College coaching football. Lamontis is a native of Mobile, Al. He graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Health Education in 2014. He was a wide receiver for the Jaguars where he also played on the 2009 inaugural team.

Coach Gardner is married to his wife Jada Gardner, and has two daughters, Armahni and Hayleigh.
