Hello! I’m Sarah Thorjusen and I am so excited to be part of the Summerdale Family. This is my fourteenth year in education and I am as passionate now as I was fourteen years ago about students, teachers and learning. I have taught grades 6-10^th. I have taught English, Reading Intervention and Family and Consumer Science. I also have taught English 101, Communication 101 and Developmental Writing at the post-secondary level. I feel honored and very blessed to be able to work with such amazing students and such a talented faculty on a daily basis.

My husband teaches Robotics at Foley High School and we have two daughters. We love Baldwin County and are Baldwin Proud!
